About the role
Reporting to the Head of the London Office, this is a growth-focused opportunity designed for a Senior Assistant Portfolio Manager or Associate Portfolio Manager ready to transition into a Junior Portfolio Manager role.
You’ll work alongside an experienced Portfolio Manager, taking on more responsibility in managing client portfolios, contributing to investment decisions, and supporting client experiences. You’ll be trusted to deliver exceptional service, strengthen relationships with clients and Financial Planners, and support the strategic growth and succession of our business.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to take ownership and grow into a future Portfolio Manager.
Accountabilities
You’ll work alongside an experienced senior portfolio manager
Managing lower complexity client portfolios, generating revenue, and leading the client experience.
You’ll be trusted to deliver exceptional service, strengthen relationships with clients and Financial Planners based or allocated to the London office
Ensure all portfolios are updated and set up correctly.
Skills and Experience
3+ years’ experience in wealth management or investment management, ideally in an Assistant Portfolio Manager or Associate Portfolio Manager role.
Strong understanding of portfolio management principles and client servicing.
Completed the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
Progressing through CISI Level 6 Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities.
Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
Able to learn and follow processes and work efficiently.
