In this role, you will support our Portfolio Management teams and develop key skills for a future in our industry. You will play a pivotal role in providing an excellent experience for our high-net-worth clients throughout their financial journey.
About the role
Joining a busy team in our Bristol office, you will provide administrative support and learn the job from the ground up. The successful candidate will assist teams across the business, including Portfolio Management, Investment Ops and our Client Support Hubs.
You’ll be involved in a wide range of tasks, from preparing client documentation and maintaining accurate records, to supporting investment reporting and helping ensure our processes run smoothly. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and a proactive attitude will be key.
You’ll gain exposure to the inner workings of a wealth management firm, with opportunities to learn from experienced professionals and grow your understanding of financial markets, client service, and regulatory requirements.
Accountabilities
- Set up new client accounts, close accounts, and make payments.
- Create new fee allocations for the relevant Portfolio Manager or Financial Planner.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Ops teams, and Compliance to challenge or investigate queries and work together to form solutions.
- Accurately maintain and update client records and financial data.
- Adhere to all compliance procedures (as a regulated firm we value the ability to execute processes to a high quality with strong attention to detail).
- Keep process guides up to date, ensuring records are correct.
Skills and Experience
- You are someone who enjoys looking at data and leading investigations to find the answers.
- Outstanding attention to detail (our clients expect the best!).
- Exceptionally organised and self-directed with strong time management abilities.
- Enjoy working under pressure and delivering to tight timescales.
- Able to learn and follow processes and work efficiently.
- Enjoy learning how to use and integrate new technology into daily operations.
- Intermediate spreadsheet skills (Pivot tables, V:lookups)
