Digital L&D Partner
Our company is changing the face of wealth management and planning. Our teams are small enough for you to make an impact, our company is large enough to support your career aspirations.
Career
You've started in Learning and Development, but haven't progressed too far. You have a strong digital bias and want to support a firm building out a digital learning library. You could really get some strong achievements by taking ownership of how we onboard people, how we supply knowledge on demand, and how we partner the business to be better at what they do.
This suits hands on people with a commercial approach, with a skillset in building out e-learning.
About the role
We use 360learning as our LMS integrated to HiBob (our HRIS) enabling us to deliver at scale. You will also have the opportunity to support Team off-sites and in-person training interventions.
You will support the Chief People Officer with key relationships with our competence team and the HR Business Partners to ensure we deliver what the business needs to enable new colleagues to get up to speed quickly, and existing colleagues to develop their skillset.
Accountabilities
- Deliver a centralised Atomos training plan under the guidance of the Chief People Officer.
- Design and deliver engaging e-learning on our 360 platform following the “little and often” and “support-on-demand” principles.
- Establish a culture of continuous learning and improvement and CPD.
- Work with T&C to provide a reporting suite of learning delivery.
- Work with the Chief People Officer and T&C to support capability assessments and interventions within the business.
- Democratise learning by facilitating system manuals moving onto our LMS platform (360).
- Codify our “relationship management super recipe” and establish an e-learning and in person training suite around it.
- Facilitate both online and in-person learning sessions for employees and an understanding of what engages, and how to create blended learning solutions.
- Manage live webinars, edit recordings and presentations, and distil to bite-sized e-learning.
- Prioritise sharing of inhouse expertise – we're not looking to buy-in content.
- Focus on solutions for knowledge of management techniques, soft skills, and relationship management.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in learning and development with preference to prior experience in financial services (e.g. awareness of SMCR).
- Experience managing an LMS - our LMS is “360 Learning” - bonus points if you’ve used that (we also use Articulate to build modules).
- Digital native with ability to carry out simple video edits to right-size recordings for upload into e-learning (e.g. 5min soundbites not 1hr monologues).
- Experience coordinating training programmes.
- Prior experience taking other people’s subject matter expertise and distilling into effective learning.
- An interest in the traits of high performers and how we can share the knowledge.
- Happy to visit UK based sites in person once per quarter to gain feedback.
- Fast learner - comfortable deploying with trial and error and adjusting to get better results.
- Sense of humour is a team trait within our HR team!
