About the role 
Reporting to our Assistant Financial Controller, you will support the production of monthly accounts, regulatory returns and financial statements. You will collaborate with the wider Finance team to improve processes and streamline automation. 

Accountabilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, carrying out bank reconciliations and posting journal entries.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all balances are checked and accurate.
• Prepare monthly reports for stakeholders including shareholders and investors.
• Assist with the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of year end statutory accounts under FRS102.
• Assist the team during the annual company audit by helping with queries. 
• Provide ad-hoc support to senior members of the team and projects as required.
  
  Skills & Experience

• Part qualified or a few exams away from achieving ACCA/ACA/CIMA. 
• Intermediate Excel skills - e.g. Pivot tables, VLookups. 
• Experience working in a similar accounting or finance position.
• Good working knowledge of FCA reporting guidelines.
• Some knowledge of FRS 102 reporting standards - awareness of future changes but the rest can be taught.
