In this position, you will support the management of our high net worth clients and develop essential skills for a future in our industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring an excellent experience for our clients throughout their financial journey.
About the role
Joining our busy team in the expanding Bristol office, you will provide administrative support and learn the job from the ground up. The successful candidate will assist various internal teams across the business.
To succeed, you should have intermediate spreadsheet skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), be personable, and eager to learn.
Accountabilities
- Set up new client accounts, close accounts, and process payments.
- Create new fee allocations for the relevant Portfolio Manager or Financial Planner.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Ops teams, and Compliance to challenge or investigate queries and work together to form solutions.
- Accurately maintain and update client records and financial data.
- Adhere to all compliance procedures (as a regulated firm we value the ability to execute processes to a high quality with strong attention to detail).
- Keep process guides up to date, ensuring records are accurate.
Skills and Experience
- You are someone who enjoys looking at data and leading investigations to find the answers.
- Outstanding attention to detail (we expect the best!).
- Exceptionally organised and self-directed with strong time management abilities.
- Enjoy working under pressure and delivering to tight timescales.
- Able to learn and follow processes and work efficiently.
- Enjoy learning how to use and integrate new technology into daily operations.
- Intermediate spreadsheet skills (Pivot tables, V:lookups)
- Applicants should have at least 1 year of professional or administrative experience (financial services is a bonus).
