You will have experience working in a similar role, having either directly supported a Financial Advisor or Planner previously or worked as part of a team in a Financial Planning firm.
You will be extremely organised and able to manage your time effectively, ensuring that all tasks are completed within agreed timescales. You will be a team player, able to support colleagues when needed and ensure work is completed to the highest standards.
You are a fast learner, able to pick things up quickly and seek out learning opportunities. You are naturally inquisitive and have excellent communication skills. You will have sharp attention to detail and work best when faced with a busy workload.
About the role
Working in our London Head Office you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Private Client Director in providing our high net worth clients with an excellent client experience.
Our Private Client Director specialises in clients going through a divorce, expertly designing financial solutions based on the client's individual goals, life events and ambitions.
Accountabilities
- Accurately process all New Business Submissions working with platforms and providers to ensure all applications and requests are followed through end to end.
- Input and maintain new business data onto CRM in a timely manner ensuring the client records are accurate, up-to-date and contain relevant information reflecting the true state and progress of the work undertaken.
- General administration to assist with meeting preparation and client enquiries.
- Updating client details, address changes, updating providers and clients on continuous progress.
- Continuously review workflows and processes. Open to providing coaching and support to colleagues and training.
- General deputisation for the Hub Team Leader when required.
Skills and Experience
- Have at least 3 years’ experience supporting a Financial Planner or Adviser.
- Good communication skills, comfortable with numbers, and highly organised.
- Ability to prioritise work and direct others to ensure work is completed within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- A proactive and innovative approach to problem solving, including persuasion and influencing skills.
- Experience working with a CRM (ours is XPLAN, all training provided).
- Enjoys being part of a team, sharing knowledge and a natural desire to coach/mentor other team members.
