This is a rare opportunity to join our dynamic London team working for one of our key people. We want a team player who will manage their book via client excellence and wants to work alongside a manager who consistently delivers growth. You will receive clients and be expected to support delivery in providing personalised financial advice and planning services to her primarily female client base (the better she does, the more clients she can hand over).
About the role
As a Financial Planner, you will support clients in achieving their financial goals, developing plans that maximise their resources and guide them throughout their financial life events. You will work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, necessitating proficiency within our processes, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently.
Accountabilities
- Provide personalised financial advice and planning services to clients.
- Analyse clients' financial status and develop strategies to meet their financial goals.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored advice.
- Manage ongoing reviews in line with client service agreements.
- Provide intelligent and creative solutions to client issues both reactively and proactively.
- Learn, understand and be able to successfully articulate all aspects of the firm’s financial planning proposition.
- Complete Continuous Professional Development to meet regulatory requirements, obtain annual CPD and personal development needs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions and financial plans.
- Collaborate with team members to share insights and improve service delivery.
Skills and Experience
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
- Experience in an advisory or technical role gained within an advisory firm.
- Experience using and delivering a full range of provider products, services, and capabilities.
- Minimum 18mths experience in a client-facing role, skilled in building and maintaining excellent client and internal relationships, within all parts of the business.
- Smart, curious, and engaged.
- Experience managing female clients (note you do not need to be female, you just need experience of a similar client bank).
- Intermediate Excel - v:lookups and pivot tables.
- Good energy – you must able to have conversations with clients that deliver trust and solutions.
- A desire to be excellent at what you do.
