About the Role
Based in Bristol, you will report directly to the Head of Analytics. You will help to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and data lake that support the firm’s investment strategies and client service platforms.
You will support upcoming projects to improve and update our existing data lake and data pipelines, utilising cloud-native data warehousing and ETL tools. Becoming an integral member of the team implementing tactical and strategic changes you have designed.
Accountabilities:
- Design and implement ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources into a cohesive data warehouse environment.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analytical and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver comprehensive data solutions.
- Maintain data security standards in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Continuously improve data systems for enhanced performance and scalability.
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools and data warehousing solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud services and data lake architectures.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and support your team
- Strives to learn new methods and technologies to improve processes and think innovatively.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
